We are a diverse group of trusted mentors, sponsors, and coaches (subject matter experts) involved in creating services that have the potential to fundamentally transform important markets.

No one builds a successful organization alone — surrounding yourself with the right personal board of advisers can make or break the venture.

Startups are full of twists and turns.  Having the necessary agility and ensuring that the organization’s teams are continuously aligned and pulling in the same direction are the building blocks required for sustainable productivity and growth.

People will amaze you with what they’re able to achieve when they have trust in management to make the right decisions. But to be successful, they also have to have a clear understanding of what they’re aiming for and why it matters.

 

It starts with being purposeful about the culture you’re building from day zero, and continues with being intentional about communicating how your organization and its requirements are changing.

When done right, this kind of open communication lets you tap into the best ideas from every area of your organization.

 

 

Effective strategic, emotional and financial support is essential in navigating different stages of growth.

Sometimes, there are things you just aren’t ready to bring to your board, and other times, you just need to get out of your own head. A personal board of advisers augments your own knowledge and experience, and provides pathways not apparent to those closest to the venture.

    We are interested in dreamers, techies and business minded people that want to break-out and make a difference. If you can fill in the following blanks we are interested in what you have to say.

    Problem: What tough problem, market need, or customer pain point are you addressing? Why is it important to solve this particular problem? 

    Solution: What is your unique solution to the problem, how does it work, and how is it 10-times better than other solutions to the problem? 

    Market: Who will the customers be and how big is the market opportunity? 

    Competition: What current or future solutions, technologies, or companies may compete with yours in the market? How is yours differentiated; what’s its unique value proposition relative to the competition; why will your solution win? 

    Team: Who is your management team, what is their background and why are they uniquely qualified to run this venture and deliver the solution to market? Are there any significant holes and how do you plan to fill them? How do you plan to scale to meet the goals of your business plan?

    The business: What is your business plan? Provide a multi-year income statement and capitalization plan that includes how much money you plan to raise, when you will need it and what will you use it for. What key assumptions are you basing your plan on?

    Summary: All this should be in a one to four page (text ) summary together with 15—20 slides.
